Radio Sai - Vedam

Radio Sai - Vedam is the Vedic-chanting channel of the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre in India. Its name identifies recitation rather than a general music or news station.

The Media Centre is a unit of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, based at Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi. Radio Sai is part of its spiritual-audio service.

Vedam has its own continuous audio address and channel artwork in the publisher's public registry. It is separate from the downloadable Morning Prayer recording listed alongside it.

The devotional recitations use Sanskrit. The channel is intended for listening to Vedic chanting, while Radio Sai's Telugu and Discourse services offer different spoken-content selections.

The publisher supplies a standalone MP3 stream as well as its website player. Listeners can therefore follow the same channel through an internet-radio player without a video broadcast.

The published registry distinguishes Vedam from Bhajan, Sai Gayathri, Gayathri Mantra and Shiv Panchakshari. Those are separate channels, not alternate names or bitrates of Vedam.
