- VON Radio's published history describes its role as a source of information and contact during hurricanes affecting the Caribbean. It records the introduction of its news service in 1995 and the move of its AM signal onto the internet in 2000. The history also describes a long-running public-discussion programme that gives residents a route to raise concerns about topical issues. [1]
- The current VON Radio website combines live listening with news from Nevis and the wider federation, community announcements and programme information. It publishes call-in telephone numbers, a radio-schedule section and links to music shows. A featured political discussion programme is identified with a host and a weekly slot. Videos, event announcements and listener greetings are separate resources alongside the continuous radio service. [2]
