- 80s80s is a German radio brand focused on music from the eighties. Its official player separates the national programme from regional selections and specialist music channels. These include Italo Disco, Wave, Love and Yacht Rock. The channel selector is important: choosing a themed stream changes the musical selection rather than simply changing the audio quality of the main station. The website also publishes music stories and concert information about artists associated with the decade. [1]
- Listening options include the website, a mobile application, digital radio and supported smart-speaker services. The presenter directory includes Peter Illmann and George Zampounidis, with information about their musical interests and programmes. The main site provides a listener-voted countdown and music requests for specialist shows. Programme and channel names distinguish editorially selected listening options; the station's general eighties identity does not mean that every separate channel has the same playlist. [2]
